Two postdoctoral scholarships in Professor Johan Åkerman's group open for applications

The scholarships are both connected to the research project Harnessing light and spins through plasmons at the nanoscale funded by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg foundation.

The tax-free scholarships are 27 000 SEK per month each, for a period of one year, with possible extension for an additional year, after evaluation. The starting date for both is November 1st 2018, or upon agreement.

The application should include a short letter stating why you are interested in the scholarship, and describing how you meet the selection criteria, a curriculum vitae (including publication list) and certificate of PhD degree and other certificates and documents. Postdoctoral scholarship in Rapid demagnetization induced spin waves, vortices, bubbles, and skyrmions

Requirements to apply for the scholarship: A PhD in Magnetism. Documented experience in measurement and analysis of spintronic devices. Experience in rapid demagnetization and direct observation using ultra-fast TEM is considered a plus.

Postdoctoral scholarship in Fabrication and characterization of large spin Hall nano-oscillator arrays

Requirements to apply for the scholarship: A PhD in Magnetism. Documented experience in micro-and nano-lithography and related clean room work.
