    [13 Nov 2018] On 28 November the Nobel Prize Laureate Takaaki Kajita will visit Gothenburg Physics Centre for a talk. He will tell the story about the fascinating journey which led to a groundbreaking underground discovery - and to the Nobel Prize in Physics 2015.

  • Caroline Beck Adiels får 8 miljoner i forskningsmedel

    [16 Oct 2018] The Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research, SFF, will be giving out 236 million kronor in total to 33 different projects set to promote advanced research and innovation. Among the recipients is Caroline Beck Adiels, researcher at the Department of Physics, University of Gothenburg. The funding will be put to use in a project where the research group creates chip that act as an artificial liver, to tailor medical treatment.

  • Two postdoctoral scholarships in Professor Johan Åkerman¿s group open for applications

    [26 Sep 2018] The scholarships are both connected to the research project Harnessing light and spins through plasmons at the nanoscale funded by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg foundation.
